I pledge my Head to clearer thinking, my Heart to greater loyalty, my Hands to larger service and my Health to better living for my club, my community, my country and my world.
The familiar 4-H Pledge, one that is traditionally a centrepiece on opening day of the annual Eastern Nova Scotia Exhibition (ENSE), will be on full display again this year.
4-H Day 2017 will take place Wednesday, Aug. 30, at the Exhibition Grounds on James Street in Antigonish.
4-H clubs from Antigonish and Guysborough counties, including Goshen, Heatherton, Landing, Lower South River, St. Andrews, St. Josephs, Tracadie and West River participate in a variety of competitions.
Along with animal competitions, the popular parade and crowning of the Miss and Master will, once again, be highlights of an action-packed – and entertaining ENSE 4-H Day.
