Scott leads X-Women to first victory

Antigonish native Holly Scott scored a game-high 20 points to lead the St. F.X. X-Women to their first Atlantic University Sport (AUS) regular season win.
The third-year guard also chipped in nine rebounds, two assists and one steal in a 68-61 road victory, Jan. 26, over the Dalhousie Tigers in Halifax.
Sophomore point guard Caroline Hrabinski, in 40 minutes of court time, contributed 10 points, nine rebounds, six assists and four steals.
Samantha Minicucci added 12 points and seven rebounds, while Kimberly Kingsbury also hit double digits in scoring, with 10.

Back in action
The X-Women returned to their home court against the UNB Varsity Reds (Feb. 2) and Saint Mary’s Huskies (Feb. 6).
Results were unavailable at press time.
This weekend, the X-Women will welcome the Memorial SeaHawks to Coach K Court for Saturday (Feb. 17) and Sunday (Feb. 18) match-ups.
Tip-off is set for 6 and 1 p.m., respectively.
