Bridgetown Ciderfest fun for the whole family at Jubilee Park

BRIDGETOWN, NS - There was tons of fun for the whole family at Jubilee Park Sept. 8 as the 35th annual Bridgetown Ciderfest hit its stride.

There was face painting, a bouncy castle, a children’s area by Family Matters, a dunk tank presented by Amazing Grace Baptist Church (proceeds from dunk tank going to the Food Bank), and games such as bobbing for apples, scavenger hunt, needle in the haystack, apple shy, and a lot more.

D’Aubin Family Meats, Sole Bliss, Doughnut Guyz, and Toms Cool Bus provided food for the afternoon.

There was also a very popular Firefighters Children’s Obstacle Course where firefighter Daniel Cheeseman helped about 100 kids carry hose, swing a hammer, save a dummy, and put out a ‘fire’with a real fire hose.

And of course there was the messiest event of all – the apple pie eating contest.

Take a look at pictures from a few of the events.
