Ronald J. Chisholm

Funeral service for the late Ronald Joseph ‘Ron’ Chisholm, 68, Charlottetown, formerly of Antigonish, was held May 18 in St. Ninian Cathedral, Antigonish, with Father Donald MacGillivray officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Mr. Chisholm died May 14, 2018, at home. Readers at the funeral Mass were Stephen Anderson and Elliott Anderson. Allison Beck and Alex Beck presented the offertory gifts. Music was provided by Emery Van de Wiel. Pallbearers were Robbie Chisholm, Gerard Chisholm Jr., Andrew Chisholm, Joey Anderson, Paul Anderson and Charlie Chisholm. Born in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Joe and Sally (MacPherson) Chisholm. He moved to Charlottetown in 1973, where he had a career as a drywall taper for 45 years. He enjoyed sharing stories and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by daughter, Kim (Roy) Beck, Montague; son, Charlie (Jenny) Chisholm, Montague; four grandchildren, Allison, Alex and Jonathan Beck, Walter Chisholm; brother, Gerard, Antigonish, two sisters, Bernadette Rancourt, Ottawa; Valarie Boshman, Sarnia; two brothers-in-law, Elliott Anderson, Cody Boshman; numerous nieces and nephews.
