Organization to host Wear It for Wishes Children's Wish Foundation game Feb. 9

John Michael Kennedy of Port Hawkesbury is the newest member of the Nova Bantam organization in the Nova Scotia Major Bantam Hockey League (NSMBHL).

Prior to a recent practice at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre, team representatives presented John Michael with a certificate and jersey, making him an honorary member of this year’s squad.

John Michael will represent the Children’s Wish Foundation for the Wear it for Wishes game, when the Nova Bantams host the All Credit Auto Rangers Saturday, Feb. 9 at the Antigonish Arena.

Puck drop is 5 p.m.

Proceeds from the game will be donated to the Children’s Wish Foundation on behalf of the Nova Bantam organization.

In an effort to exceed last year’s fundraising total, the Nova Bantams are hosting an on-line auction of donated items on their Facebook site.
