ANTIGONISH, N.S. — POLICE INDICATED EARLIER TODAY THEY HAVE IDENTIFIED THE SUSPECT

ANTIGONISH - The Antigonish District RCMP is investigating the theft of more than $2,500 in merchandise from an electronics store in the Antigonish Market Square (Mall).
On Jan. 22, at 9:37 p.m., police responded to a call of a disturbance at the store. When they arrived, members met the lone employee, who told them an aggresive, angry man came into the store, taking the merchandise without paying for it.
The man is described as white, 6' tall with a thin build, and scruffy facial hair. 
At the time of the incident, he was wearing dark coloured pants, black and white athletic shoes, a black jacket - with white trim - and a ball cap with a black front. 
Police are asking anyone who can identify the man in the surveillance photo (accompanying this story), or has information about the incident, to contact them at 902-863-6500.
