Most students across Nova Scotia had the day off on Tuesday after an overnight snowfall.

Schools in Halifax, Cape Breton-Victoria, Chignecto Central, Tri-County and Strait regional education centres were closed due to road conditions. All Conseil Scolaire Acadien Provincial classes were also cancelled.

The Annapolis regional centre closed schools in Annapolis and Kings counties, but schools in West Hants remained open. Classes in South Shore Regional Centre for Education were still a go.

The Nova Scotia Community College closed its Akerley, Annapolis Valley, Cumberland, Instutite of Technology and Pictou campuses.
