One man is dead after a fire in a camper-trailer in Parrsboro on Friday.
RCMP Cpl. Andrew Joyce said the 55-year-old man’s body was discovered in the burned trailer, which was being used as a residence on a property containing another home on Two Island Road.
The road runs from Parrsboro and past the Parrsboro Golf Club.
Joyce said a neighbour called in the fire at 5:19 p.m.
“Because the death was deemed not suspicious by the medical examiner, the investigation has been turned over to the fire marshal’s office,” Joyce said.
He said if the office finds anything suspicious about the cause of the fire, that information will be turned back over to the RCMP for further investigation.
