Pictou District RCMP is asking for the public’s help locating 15-year-old Jacob Spring, who was last seen May 17, 2019.

Spring currently resides in Truro but had been visiting family at their residence on Pictou Landing Rd. in Hillside for the long weekend. Spring was seen by police in the area of Bridge Ave. in the town of Stellarton on the night of May 17 and has not been heard from since.

Spring is described as a white male, 6-feet tall, 150 pounds, with short dark brown hair and brown eyes. Spring was last seen wearing a tan and green hooded sweatshirt, a brown coat, dark colored pants and brown boots, and was carrying a black backpack.

Police believe the teen left on foot after a disagreement with the family he was staying with.RCMP Cpl. Ron Bryce said the teen has been known to leave without letting family know in the past and police do not suspect foul play, but are concerned because of the length of time that Spring has been missing.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Spring is asked to contact Pictou District RCMP at 902-755-4141. Should you wish to remain anonymous, call Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers toll free at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submit a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca, or use the P3 Tips App.
