Paqtnkek Powwow

The Paqtnkek Mi’kmaw Nation Community Centre was a hub of cultural celebration, Sept. 22 and 23, for a powwow that brought a steady stream of guests to the community over the course of the weekend.
Many dancers, drummers, vendors, family members, friends and guests attended throughout the event, celebrating the local Mi'kmaw culture. Pictured are some of the dancers of many ages who performed in full regalia.
