Stellarton pharmacy robbed

STELLARTON, N.S. — Stellarton Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at the  Medical Hall on Foord Street in Stellarton Thursday afternoon.

Stellarton Police Service with the assistance of the Westville Police Service and the New Glasgow Regional Police arrested a 57-year-old male from New Glasgow who is facing several charges.

Stellarton Police Service with the assistance of Westville Police Service executed a Search Warrant at a residence in New Glasgow in regards to this incident.

The suspect was scheduled to appear Friday morning in Pictou Provincial Court.

The same pharmacy was robbed in August 2018.
