SYDNEY, N.S. — A 24-year-old Sydney Mines man has been remanded until the end of the month after being charged with driving and weapon offences.
Kyle Joseph Reynolds of Young Street is charged with impaired driving, refusing a breathalyzer demand, possession of a prohibited weapon and ammunition with no licence, careless transport of a weapon (a Cooey shotgun), theft and two counts of breaching court orders.
The offences are alleged to have occurred Thursday in Sydney.
Reynolds made a brief court appearance Friday and was remanded, by consent, pending the outcome of a bail hearing set for Sept. 30.
