ANITA MARIE MCGRATH

Funeral service for the late Anita Marie McGrath, 49, Wine Harbour, was held June 20 in St. John’s United Church, Sherbrooke, with Reverend Derek Elsworth officiating. Burial was in Wine Harbour Cemetery. Mrs. McGrath died June 14, 2019, in St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke. Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of Gloria (Sangster) and the late Russell MacIntosh. Over the years she worked at local fish plants, as a cashier and developing the archives program at Historic Sherbrooke Village. She enjoyed playing bingo, and going to the camp. Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, Mark; two sons, Brandon (Kelsey), Liscomb Mills; Devon, Stillwater; two grandchildren, Brayden, Logan; brother, Wayne (Donna) Sangster, Guysborough; sister, Gail (Keith) Robinson, Stillwater; nephew and nieces, Ryan and Carly, Guysborough; Katelyn, Stillwater; mother-in-law, Ruby McGrath, Fort McMurray, Alberta; special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tim and Lana McGrath, Fort McMurray, Alta.; several nieces and nephews.
