Annabelle ‘Ann’ Wells

Funeral service for the late Annabelle ‘Ann’ Wells, 78, was held July 13, in St. Ninian Cathedral, Antigonish, with Father Donald MacGillivray officiating. Mrs. Wells died July 8, 2018 in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Seaview, she was the daughter of the late John Calder and Mary Lorena ‘Rene’ (Bona) Goswell. She enjoyed music and giving music lessons to adults and children; she could play a variety of musical instruments. She enjoyed playing and singing for seniors and nursing homes. She loved knitting, crafts and making special cards for birthdays and holidays. Her daily telephone calls will be missed by everyone. She is survived by her companion, Joseph Farrell; two stepsons, Joey and Doug; stepdaughter-in-law, Debbie; step-granddaughter, Crystal; step-great- grandchildren; brother, Harold (Carol), two sisters-in-law, Rita, Mae; two brothers-in-law, Seward, Francis; special niece, Anne Maire; several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, John, Jim; stepson, Jimmy. She donated her body to Dalhousie Medical Research. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
