Annie ‘Jane’ Croft

A graveside service for the late Annie ‘Jane’ Croft, 79, Rockdale, Richmond County, was held May 31 in Holy Guardian Angels Cemetery, L’Ardoise, with Father Antolin Asor officiating. Mrs. Croft died May 18, 2019, in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in West L’Ardoise, she was the daughter of the late Placide and Sophie (Evong) Roach. She lived her early adult life in Halifax and then moved to Rockdale with her family. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Carl Croft, Rockdale; son, Wayne (Tannis) Croft, River Bourgeois; daughter, Michelle; two sisters, Sarah (Lavin) Richards, Demark, NS; May (Clifford) Mombourquette, Halifax; special niece, Marie (Bruce) Prout, West L’Ardoise; many nieces and nephews. She was predceased by two brothers, Lauchie, Loius Roach; five sisters, Katherine 'Kay' (Joe) Laben, Beatrice (Loius) Taylor, Elizabeth (Fred) Bona, Theresa (Gordon) Lerue, Annie Jane, in infancy; in-laws, Stan and Hilda Croft.
