Funeral service for the late Archibald Lévis MacIsaac-Vacon, 19, Saint Lazare, Quebec, was held July 19 in St. Margaret’s Parish, Broad Cove, Inverness County. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

A celebration of life was held July 5 at the Saint Lazare Community Centre, Saint-Lazare, QC.

Mr. MacIsaac-Vacon died June 29, 2019.

A son of Robert MacIsaac and Charlene Vacon,  he was a recent graduate of John Abbott College in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue and previously of Westwood High School in Hudson, Quebec. He was a caddy at Cabot Cliffs and Cabot Links in Inverness for the past four summers, and was employed at StyroChem in Baie D’Urfé, QC, this summer. He was a voracious reader, an adventurous spirit and a good friend to many. He was a bright and shining light, insatiably curious about the world, who inspired and challenged all who met him. He is sorely missed.

Besides his parents, he is survived by brother, Angus, Saint Lazare, Quebec; grandparents, John ‘Butch’ and Margie MacIsaac, Inverness; Larry Vacon, Middle East Pubnico; Lorraine Vacon, Shelburne, formerly of Yarmouth; aunt, Joanne Dussault, Nominingue, Quebec; uncles, James (Debbie) Dussault, Riverview, N.B.; Jules Dussault, Quinan, N.S.; many cousins and friends.
