BRIAN JOSEPH GILLIS
Funeral service for the late Brian Joseph Gillis, 62, Antigonish, was held July 11 in St. Margaret of Scotland Church, Arisaig, with Father Colin MacKinnon officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Gillis died July 2, 2019.
A son of the late Allan Francis and Mary Beatrice (MacDonald) Gillis, he was a bus driver for the Strait Regional School Board for a number of years. He enjoyed spending time with his extended family in Arisaig, especially during the summer months. He was a loving uncle and grand-uncle.
He is survived by sister, Brenda Cook, Halifax; brother, Stephen (Donna) Gillis, Boston; many cousins and friends.
