Coleman Edward George

Funeral service for the late Coleman Edward George, 76, Canso, Guysborough County, was held August 17 in All Saints Anglican Church, Canso. Burial was in All Saints Anglican Church Cemetery. Mr. George died August 18, 2018, in Eastern Memorial Hospital. Born August 9, 1942, in Canso, he was a son of the late Roland and Bessie (Ryter) George. He was a fisherman all his life, retiring in 2012. He enjoyed duck hunting, playing guitar and cards. He is survived by son, Coleman Jr.; his son’s mother, Dena; two sisters, Tilly Ouellette, Valley View Villa; Elsie David, Canso; brother, Fred, New Glasgow; brother-in-law, Glenn Landry, New Glasgow; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by six year old son, Scottie; four sisters, Emma Feltmate, Jessie Dort, Rose Mason, Mary Landry; two brothers, Clarence, Lawrence; five brothers-in-law, Alonzo Feltmate, Bill Ouellette, Bill Dort, Vivian Mason, Wilfred David; sister-in-law, Faye George.
