Colette Marie Marchand

Funeral service for the late Colette Marie Marchand, 56, Petit de Grat, was held March 21 in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Arichat, with Father Michel Exalant officiating. Burial will be in Star of the Sea Cemetery, Petit de Grat, at a later date. Ms. Marchand died March 11, 2019, at home. Born in Antigonish, she was the daughter of Lucille (Jollymore), Arichat, and the late Gus Marchand. She enjoyed camping, gardening and the outdoors. Besides her mother, she is survived by long-time partner, Stephen Sullivan, Petit De Grat; two daughters, Santana Marchand (George), Halifax; Becky Sullivan, Janvrins Island; four grandchildren, Hayden and Ryleigh Anderson, Kelby and Sophy McGrath-Sullivan; brother, Ronnie Marchand (Gayle), Petit De Grat; two sisters, Michelle Antle (Leonard), Prince Edward Island; Shelley Marchand (Ron), Petit De Grat; in-laws, Gladys Fitzpatrick (Sandy), Glenda Stone (Charlie); brother-in-law, James Gerroir; nine nieces and nephews, Tristan, Tiffany, Courtney, Caitlin, Sara, Crystal, Danielle, Jessica, Brady; great-niece, Naomi; great-nephew, Trent. She was predeceased by her son, Devin Sullivan; brother, Ronald Marchand, in infancy; niece, Shelby Gerroir. Memorial donations may be made to St. Anne Centre, Arichat.
