Collena Isobel Campbell

Funeral service for the late Collena Isobel Campbell, 63, was held February 28 in St. Mary’s Church, Mabou, with Father Bernie MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery at a later date. Mrs. Campbell died February 24, 2019, in Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital. Born July 1, 1955, in Harbourview, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (MacMullin) MacKinnon, Judique. She was a substitute teacher with the Strait Regional School Board for almost 40 years. It was a career she passionately enjoyed and through which she developed many lasting friendships. She is survived by her husband, Francis (Riverville); son, Clarke (Cara), Calgary, Alberta; four sisters, Ethel (Rod) Chisholm, Port Hood; Peggy (Sandy) MacNeil, Creignish; Malena (Drew) MacSween, Enfield; and Karen (Paul) Carriere, Ottawa, Ontario; many nieces and nephews.
