Darlene Campbell

Funeral service for the late Darlene Campbell, 60, was held November 27 in Stella Maris Church, Inverness, with Father Dan MacDonald officiating. Burial was in St. John’s United Cemetery, Strathlorne. Mrs. Campbell died November, 20, 2018, in Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born October 7, 1958, in Inverness, she was a daughter of Buddy and the late Molly Timmons. She was an employee of Inverness Raceway for more than 28 years. From the Kinette Club, the Ceilidh Trail CB Club and the running of the Community Channel, she helped keep the community apprised of up and coming events and news. Besides her father, she is survived by her husband, Angus L. Campbell; daughter, Andrea (Jonathan) Beaton; son, Keegan (Alissa MacDougall) Campbell; two grandchildren, David and Tyler Beaton; three brothers, Jim (Kay), Murray (Bonnie),Sandy (Cathy); three sisters, Charlotte (Ken) Dalton, Edy (Rick) Hesse, Wilma (Gerard Cummings); brother-in-law, Paul Holmes; several aunts, uncles, in-laws; many nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.
