Funeral service for the late Donna Louise (Borden) Clyke, 87, Sunnyville, Guysborough County, was held October 16 in Sunnyville United Baptist Church with Reverend David Wheeler officiating, assisted by Pastor Clara Jordan. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Guysborough.

Mrs. Clyke died October 11, 2019, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital.

Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Edward Marshall and Bernice Viola (Williams) Borden.She was an active member of Sunnyville United Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary. She worked at the fish plant in Canso for many years, then worked at Guysborough Pharmacy until she retired.

She is survived by six children, Robert (Rose), Bernice (Harry), Sunnyville; Kenneth, Montreal; Marion, Halifax; William, Sunnyville; Laurie (Harold),Truro; 23 grand-children; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marion ‘Beth’, Montreal; Theresa, Ottawa; two brothers, Charles (Evie), Truro; George, Montreal.

She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Roy ‘Duke’ Clyke; two daughters, Patricia, Jean; son, Timothy; three grandchildren,  Harry, LeRoy, Kenny; great-granddaughter, Jasmine; three sisters, Joyce, Freda, Laura; brother, James.
