Donna Patricia MacDonald

Funeral service for the late Donna Patricia MacDonald, Dartmouth, was held August 3 in C. L. Curry Funeral Home, Antigonish, with Father Donald MacGillivray officiating. Burial was in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Guysborough Intervale. Ms. MacDonald died July 29, 2018, in Victoria General Hospital. Words of remembrance were given by niece Lindsay Ralph. Urn bearer was Brent Getson. Born July 17, 1955, in Glencoe, Guysborough County, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Lillian (MacLellan) MacDonald. She enjoyed music and would break into dance at the sound of a good tune. She is survived by her partner of 30 years, Brent Getson; two sisters, Peggy (Raymond) Doiron, Anna MacDonald; three brothers, John (Rita), Lewis (Bonnie), and Vincent; niece, Lindsay (Chris) Ralph; nephew, Brandon (Jennifer) Vooro; two great nieces, Lillian, Brooklyn; great-nephew, Drew. She was predeceased by two sisters, Jean, Angela; nephew, Andrew Doiron.
