Funeral service for the late Doreen Anne Boudreau, 66, Grand Anse, was held April 27 in Black River United Church, Black River, with Reverend Lovelace officiating. Burial will in Black River United Church Cemetery at a later date. Ms. Boudreau died April 20, 2019, at home. Born in Arichat, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Abraham and Mary Catherine (Petrie) Boudreau. She was an insurance broker for 27 years with Causeway Insurance in Port Hawkesbury. She enjoyed telile bingo and playing crib. She spent many years caring for her aging mother. She is survived by best friend and love of 42 years, Robie Wayne MacDonald; daughter, Angie LeBlanc (Shawn), West Bay; son, Kyle MacDonald (Kelly) Grande Anse; stepdaughter, Tammy Rouse (Leslie), Whycocomagh; stepson J. Travis MacDonald (Melanie), Grande Anse; three grandchildren, Kayleigh MacDonald, Amber LeBlanc, Hanna LeBlanc; step-grandchildren, Kelton Martell, Gage Martell; step-grandson, Devon Malcolm; step-grandchildren, Madison MacDonald, Kelton MacDonald, Ava MacDonald, Cody MacDonald and Shelby Rouse; great-great-step-granddaughter, Isabella MacDonald; brother, Donnie Boudreau (Eileen), Evanston; four sisters, Eileen Boudreau, Boudreauville; Catherine Chaisson (Frank), Louisdale; Susan Molloy (Joe), Halifax; Dianne Pelletier (Paul), Lochside.
