Duncan John ‘DJ’ MacPherson

A graveside committal for the late Duncan John ‘DJ’ MacPherson, 75, Whycocomagh, Inverness County, will be held in Little Narrows Cemetery in the spring. Mr. MacPherson died January 14, 2019, in Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital, Inverness. Born February 2, 1943, in Orangedale East, he was a son of the late Ross and Margaret (MacDonald) MacPherson. He worked at various jobs. He enjoyed playing auction and talking politics. He is survived by his chosen son, Chris Beaton, Sydney; three brothers, Thompson, Toronto; Archie (Velda), Beaver Bank; Malcolm, Orangedale East; two sisters, Mary (Frederick) MacKinnon, Ashfield; Edna (late Dan) MacInnis, Hazeldale; three sisters-in-law, Margie, Aberdeen; Betty, Sydney; Marcie, London, Ontario; numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grand nieces and nephews.
