Eileen Katherine Ehler

Funeral service for the late Eileen Katherine Ehler, 70, Peas Brook, Guysborough County, was held February 4 in St. James the Martyr Anglican Church, Halfway Cove, with Reverend Susan Slater officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Ehler died January 29, 2019, at home. She was a daughter of the late James and Annie (Hendsbee) Hendsbee. She was a faithful member of Saint James the Martyr Church as her fundraising efforts had no bounds. She enjoyed shopping, bingo and cardinals. She is survived by daughter, Maxine (Mike) Feltmate; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Debra Sangster, Pauline (Oren) Rhynold; brother, John (Madonna) Hendsbee; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Kenneth Ehler; sister, Phyllis Armsworthy. Memorial donations may be made to the St. James the Martyr Anglican Cemetery Fund.
