ELDORA ‘DORA’ CECILE BRITTEN
Funeral service for the late Eldora ‘Dora’ Cecile Britten, 89, St. Peter’s/Poulamon, was held July 20 in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Arichat, with Father Michel Exalant officiating. Burial was in St. Hyacinth Cemetery in D’Escousse.
Mrs. Britten died July 10, 2019, at her residence in the Richmond Villa, St. Peter’s.
Born in Poulamon, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Ann Bertha (MacDonald) Fougere. She was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Grand Anse; Civic Improvement Centre, D’Escousse; New Horizon’s Seniors Club, Arichat; and St. Hyacinth C.W.L., D’Escousse.
She is survived by her sister, Gemma Poirier, D’Escousse; many nieces and nephews.
