ELIZABETH 'BETTY' RICHARD

Funeral service for the late Elizabeth 'Betty' Richard, 73, Canso, formerly of Little Dover, was held September 3 in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Little Dover, with Father Jonathan Nnajiofor officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

Mrs. Richard died August 30, 2019, in Canso Seaside Manor.

Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late William Charles and Florence (Williams) Bouchie. She enjoyed listening to Newfoundland music, playing bingo and cards and visits from her family and friends. She was one of the longest residents of the Canso Seaside Manor.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond; three sons, Ronnie, Adrian (Debbie), Clayton (Judy); five grandchildren, Marlee, Andrea, Krista, Jenna, Trent; great-grandson, Liam.

She was predeceased by three sisters, Joan Martell (Alfred), Lillian Farrell (Fred), Shirley Kinsmen (Douglas); brother, Charlie Bouchie, in infancy.
