Evelyn Elizabeth 'Evie' Keefe

Funeral service for the late Evelyn Elizabeth ‘Evie’ Keefe, 86, Little Dover, Guysborough County, was held July 2 in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Little Dover, with Father Jonathan Nnajiofor officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Mrs. Keefe died June 27, 2018, in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Little Dover, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Alita (Newell) Bouchie. She was a resident of Canso Seaside Manor. She retired from the fish plant, where she worked as a packer. She is survived by two daughters, Annette (Greg) Mitchelitis, Middle Sackville; Corine (Barry) Avery, Lower Sackville; three sons, Kenny (Sherry), Prince Edward Island; Darrel (Norma), Little Dover; Robin, Canning; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Joyce, New Glasgow; Emily, Truro; Colleen, Port Hastings; Susan, PEI; Hilda, Bridgewater; two brothers, Martin, Little Dover; Bobby, British Columbia. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph ‘Gabe’; daughter, Yvonne ‘Bonnie’; sister, Ethel; two brothers, Roger, Bud. Memorial donations may be made to St. Agnes Parish Cemetery.
