FRANCIS J. CASEY SR.
Funeral service for the late Francis ‘Fran’ J. Casey, 90, North Cambridge, Massachusetts, was held June 24 in St. John’s Church.
Mr. Casey died June 19, 2019.
He and his wife, along with their children and grandchildren, spent many summers at their cottage in Ballantyne’s Cove, Antigonish County. He was a Second World War army veteran, long-time officer of St. Vincent de Paul Society, St. John’s Church, and NARVRE (National Association of Retired & Veteran Railway Employees) and the Lt. James A. Logan Post 6800 VFW of Somerville.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Helen M.(MacGillivray); two daughters, Janice MacAdam (Carroll), Antigonish; Karen Casey, Billerica; four sons, Michael (Kim), Billerica; Thomas (Tracey Hynes), Florida; Robert, Cambridge; Brian (Kathleen), Acton; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three brothers, William (Elva), Joseph (Angie), James; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by son, Francis J. Jr.; brother, Edward; sister-in-law, Donna; son-in-law, Francis J. Casey.
