Frederick ‘Fred’ Banks
Funeral service for the late Frederick ‘Fred’ Banks, 73, was held October 31 in St. Joseph Church, Dingwall, with Father Alphonsus Iwuji officiating.
Mr. Banks died October 25, 2018.
Born May 13, 1945, in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Fred and Stella (DeLorey) Banks. He was the second oldest of 10 siblings.
He is survived by his wife, Christina (Dunphy) Banks; five children, Fred Banks, Ellie Sasseville, April Starling, Bill Banks, Belinda Gaudry; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four brothers, Girard, Andre, Anthony, Bernie; two sisters, Mary Mahoney, Rita Houghton.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Peter, Leo; sister, Anne Wheeler.
