GAIL ANNE VARGA (RHYNOLD)

Funeral service for the late Gail Anne Varga (Rhynold), 68, Whitehead, Guysborough County, was held October 8 in Whitehaven Community Centre, Whitehead, with Lewis MacIntosh officiating. Burial will be in Toronto at a later date.

Mrs. Varga (Rhynold) died October 3, 2019, in Scotsburn, Pictou County.

Born and raised in Toronto, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Dorothy (Shelburne) Brown. She started her working life at Bell Canada, then Network Engineering and Whitehead Consultants LTD., and Whitehead Harbour Authority. She volunteered at Three Top Fire Department, Whitehead.

She is survived by her son, Justin (Christina) Varga, Barrie, Ontario; grandson, Owen Varga; sister, Helen Chinnery; brother, William Brown; her Rhynold family, Maureen, Lee, Jerry, Lindsay, Harvey, Wilson; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by brother, Norman Odam.
