Gerald ‘Jerry’ Nathan Burke

Burial of the late Gerald ‘Jerry’ Nathan Burke, 87, Drumhead, Guysborough County, was held in Seaside Cemetery, Seal Harbour. Mr. Burke died May 6, 2019, in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Drumhead, he was a son of the late Trueman and Blanche (Burke) Burke. He was employed by the City of Halifax for 29 years. He enjoyed splitting and piling wood, fishing with his son and many years of playing the steel guitar. He was a member of Seal Harbour United Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Allie (Henderson); son, Michael (Lorna); three grandchildren, Brandon, Braelyn Burke, Stephanie MacKenzie-Freeman; several nieces, nephews and their families.
