Gerald Lemuel Bennett
Funeral service for the late Gerald Lemuel Bennett, 89, Canso, was held October 17 in Canso United Baptist Church, Canso, with Reverend David Wheeler officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery, Queensport.
Mr. Bennett died October 13, 2018, in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso.
Born in Hazel Hill, he was a son of the late Lemuel and Rosemond (Rhynold) Bennett. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. As a lifelong resident of Canso, he made his living from the sea.
He is survived by his wife, Florence (Snow); step-children and grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Eastern Memorial Hospital or Canso United Baptist Church.
