Gerard Albert Goodwin

Funeral service for the late Gerard Albert Goodwin, 62, East Havre Boucher, was held October 12 in St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Havre Boucher, with Father Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Mr. Goodwin died October 9, 2018, in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital. Born in Antigonish, he was a son of the late John and Catherine (Ryan) Goodwin. He was employed for more than 20 years with SuperPort. He enjoyed growing vegetable and flower gardens and spending time crafting and wood working. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; son, Michael (Jolene); granddaughter, Macey; five brothers, Jerry (Gay-Anne), Ontario; Jimmy (Louella), British Columbia; John (Doreen), Halifax; Barry, Frankville; Richard, Halifax; two sisters, Brenda (Alex) Jamieson, Donna (Phonsie) Lundrigan, both of Mulgrave; sister-in-law, Leanne Goodwin; many nieces and nephews.
