GORDON WHIDDEN
Gordon Whidden, 83, Middle Sackville, died September 25, 2019, at home.
Born in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Albert and Isabelle Whidden. He worked for the provincial government for 25 years. He was a volunteer firefighter in Lower Sackville. He was proud to have donated blood for more than 30 years.
He is survived by his son, Tom (Tara), Beaver Bank; four grandchildren, Christian, Alec, Cydney, Ryan; sister, Dale Humphreys; two brothers, John Whidden, Edgar Whidden; brother-in-law, Darren O'Neil.
He was predeceased by his wife, Linda Diane Mary Whidden; two sisters, Eleanor, Gwen.
Burial will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
