Helen B. Boudreau

Funeral service for the late Helen Boudreau, 81, Port Royal, was held October 27 in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Aricha, with Father Michel Exalant officiating. Mrs. Boudreau died October 18, 2018, in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born December 23, 1936, she was the youngest child of the late Arthur and Blanche (LeJeune) Hureau, Port Royal. Her family was most important, especially her grandsons whom she spoke about constantly. She will be remembered for her chocolate squares, little blue glass and open-door policy. She is survived by four daughters, Bonnie (Vaughan Merchant), Sydney; Vivian (Dennis Starkey), Karen (Perry Ross), both of Lyons Brook; Gina, Port Royal; eight grandsons, Blake (Kelly) Ross, Colin (Amber) Ross, Darcy Ross, Dale (Kate) Starkey, Craig (Kayla) Starkey, Shane (Christy) Starkey, Isaac LeBlanc, Simon LeBlanc; sister, Corinne Boudreau; sister-in-law, Kay Hureau; brother-in-law, Ben Dempers; nieces and nephews; her husband’s daughter, Marie (Paul Anderson); her family, Tanya (Joyce), Kim, Jordan. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Boudreau; brother, John; four sisters, Luella (Leon Theriault), Emma (Reg Young), Clarisse (Artie Samson), Regina; brother-in-law, Lorenzo Boudreau.
