James Roderick MacDougall

Funeral service for the late James Roderick MacDougall, 58, Antigonish, was held February 27 in St. Ninian Cathedral with Father Donald MacGillivray officiating. Mr. MacDougall died February 23, 2019, in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital. Urn bearer was Tristen DeYoung. Music was provided by Emery van de Wiel. Born in Antigonish, he was the eldest son of the late Rod and Marie (MacLean) MacDougall. He worked for many years as a drill push in the oil and gas industry of Western Canada. He enjoyed time spent with family and friends, and loved animals. He is survived by his wife, Gingerlee; son, Tristen DeYoung; step-son, Troy; two grandchildren, Hanna, Matteo; two sisters, Jean Delorey, Susanne; two brothers, Ronnie, John.
