JOHNNA CAMERON

Funeral service for the late Johnna Cameron, 49, formally of Antigonish and Toronto, was held October 18 in St Ninian Cathedral, Antigonish, with Father Donald MacGillivray officiating. Cremation has taken place.

Ms. Cameron died October 9, 2019, with her father at her side.

Honorary pallbearers were Michael Cameron, Tracey Gardner, Carol Ann Landry and Dan Chisholm.

Readers at the funeral Mass were Bill Timmons and Kelly Crawford. Music was provided by Margaret MacDonald.

Born Sept. 13, 1970, in Antigonish, she was the daughter of Maurina MacNeil, Antigonish, and Hugh Cameron, Somers Road. She volunteered her time to helping others through Look Good Feel Good.

She is survived by her three children, Michaela, Meron, Madison; Justin Ross (father of her children), all of Toronto; brother, Michael Cameron (Joanne); sister, Patrice Couture, Truro.

She was predeceased by her step-father, Hugh Martin ‘HM’ MacDonald.
