Joseph Fredrick ‘Joe’ Mombourquette
A celebration of life and burial of the late Joseph Fredrick ‘Joe’ Mombourquette, 81, Rockdale, Richmond County, will be held at a later date. Mr. Mombourquette died January 29, 2019, in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born September 24, 1937, he was a son of the late Cornelius and Blanche (Samson) Mombourquette. He was a member of the Holy Angel Guardian Parish, L’ Ardoise. He worked for Sears Canada for 37 years and was proud to say he never took a sick day off during his years of service. After retirement, he enjoyed gardening, sharing with others the flowers and vegetables he grew. He is survived by six sisters, Marie (Andre) Albert, Valerie (Calvin) Bechard, Tena (Adrian) Touesnard, Grace ( Peter) Fader, Jeannette (Glen Graham) Street, Elaine (George) Whalen; seven brothers, Bruce (Marie), Ralph (Pearl), Quentin (Lorraine), Mark (Debbie), Danny (Sheila), Tom (Cathy), Gerald (Karen); 25 nieces and nephews; 41 great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Gerard, Francis Anthony, Fulbert; sister, Beverly Susan; niece, Tara Lynn Touesnard, nephew, Stephen Mombourquette.
