June Shirley Ann (MacInnis) Kelly

Funeral service for the late June Shirley Ann (MacInnis) Kelly, 78, was held March 20 in Stella Maris Church, Inverness, with Father Dan MacDonald officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Mrs. Kelly died March 17, 2019, in Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital. Born June 3, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Joe Harper and Elizabeth (Larade). She held several jobs over the years, the last of which was working in the housekeeping department of Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed feeding her family and friends, who especially enjoyed her butterscotch pies. She is survived by four children, Bob, Hamilton, Ontario; Gwen ‘Teddy’ (Kevin), Truro; Frank (Josephine), Dartmouth; Donna ‘Cookie’, Inverness; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Stanley; three sisters, Kaye, Sandra, Ann. She was predeceased by her first husband, Frank MacInnis; second husband, Edward Kelly; two young sons, Georgie, Neilie; three sisters, Dorothy, Josephine, Mona; two brothers, Johnny, Clemmie.
