Kenneth Murry George

Kenneth Murry George, 78, Janvrin’s Island, died May 17, 2019 in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born in Janvrin’s Island, he was the son of the late Raymond and Alice (Hendsbee) George. He enjoyed being outdoors; he could either be found out in his boat fishing, or in the woods hunting. He also loved going for drives with his sweetheart by his side. He will be missed by his wife of 54 years, Josephine (Josie)(Davis); three daughters, Elma, Mary (Vernon), both of Janvrin’s Island; Jenny (Calvin), Poulamon; two sons, Gary (Mona), Janvrin’s Island; Murry (Jene), Orangedale; eight grandchildren, Vernon (Tracy), Zachary, Tyrone, Brody, Tracy, Darcy, Reese, Kyra; three great-grandchildren, Taven, Colton, Teagen; two brothers, Clayton (Brenda), Charles (Lena); many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two grandsons, Courtney, Robert George; four sisters, Doris Skinner, Peggy Covin, Mary Richards; one, in infancy; two brothers, Artie, Joe George.
