KENNY BROUSSARD

Funeral service for the late Kenneth Louis ‘Kenny’ Broussard, 48, was held July 6 in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Parish, Halifax, with Father Paul Morris officiating.

A memorial Mass was held July 9 in Ste. Croix Catholic Church, Pomquet, with Father Andrew Gillies officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

Mr. Broussard died June 27, 2019. 

He was a son of Louis and Mildred Broussard. He spent 23 years working for the Department of National Defense. No matter the situation, he always enjoyed providing a helping hand. He was a simple man who enjoyed homemade meals and had a love for anything that was sweet and tasty.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Maria Luisa Zavarella; brother, Keith (Joana); nephew, Connor; father and mother-in-law, Luigi and Maria Zavarella; Nonna Nunziata Presutti; sister-in-law, Giovanna Zavarella; many cousins, uncles, and aunts.

Memorial donations may be made to the Mental Health Association of Nova Scotia.
