Kevin ‘Matthew’ Marr

Funeral service for the late Kevin ‘Matthew’ Marr, 29, Addington Forks, formerly of French River, was held December 15 in H.W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel with Reverenc Gail Johnson Murdock officiating. Burial was in French River Cemetery. Mr. Marr died December 12, 2018, in St Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of Heather (Browning) Marr (Andrew Jessens), Addington Forks and the late Wayne Marr. He was a machinist by trade and had worked with Bourgault Industries in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He enjoyed Nascar racing, hanging out with the guys and buying and selling. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife Pearlie Barcelona; her daughter, Micah, both of Addington Forks; sister, Stephanie (Ryan) Matthews, Eastern Passage; brother, David Marr (Katelyn), New Glasgow; step-brother, Stewart Jessens, Addington Forks; four nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Sterling and Marian Browning; paternal grandparents, Joe and Margaret Bellefontaine.
