LUCY YVONNE MACISAAC

Funeral service for the late Lucy Yvonne MacIsaac, 77, Dartmouth, formerly of Inverness, was held August 3 in Stella Maris Church, Inverness, with Father Dan MacDonald officiating.

Mrs. MacIsaac died July 25, 2019, in Victoria General Hospital, Halifax.

Born October 16, 1941, in Inverness, she was a daughter of the late Joseph ‘Joe Pat’ and Mary Romard. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth; son-in-law, Rodney Fitzner; two grandchildren, Courtney Elizabeth Fitzner, John Graeme Nelson Fitzner; two brothers, Clifford (Roberta) Romard, Edmond (Kay) Romard; two sisters, Jeanette (late Buddy Cameron), Anita Allen; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. 

She was predeceased by her husband, John Angus ‘Smokey’ MacIsaac; two sisters, Nellie (Lollie) Chisholm, Marius (Tommy) MacDonald; brother-in-law, Hughie D. MacIsaac; sister-in-law, Mary Basker.

Memorial donations may be made to Stella Maris Parish Cemetery Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society.
