MARION ELIZABETH JORDAN

Funeral service for the late Marion Elizabeth Jordan, 69, Sunnyville, Guysborough County, was held July 10 in Wesley United Church, Guysborough, with Reverend Heather Manuel and Robert Borden officiating. Burial was in in Evergreen Cemetery, Guysborough.

Ms. Jordan died July 6, 2019, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital.

Born in Guysborough, she was a daughter of the late Clayton and Mary (Byard) Jordan. She worked at Canso Seafood Ltd. for more than 20 years. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed social events and family get togethers. She also enjoyed music and her favourite TV shows, while playing her tablet.

She is survived by her companion of 43 years, Mike; son, Lawrence (Arlene); daughter, Kimberly; four grandchildren, Demetria (Geff), Dieppe,; Chelcy, Montreal; Alex, Lawrence Jr., both of Dartmouth; five sisters, Betty (Roy), Sarah, both of Sunnyville; Sharon, Dartmouth; Muriel (Wally), Lawrencetown; Diane (Claude), Dartmouth; four brothers, Wally (Eunice), James, both of Sunnyville; Neil (Sharon), Brampton, Ont.; Paul (Ann), Mississauga, Ont.; uncle, Howard Byard; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by sister, Ann; three brothers, Norm, Bernie, Ronnie.
