Mary E. Dhooge

Funeral service for the late Mary E. Dhooge, 87, formerly of St. Ninian Street, Antigonish, was held December 6 in St. Theresa Church, Halifax. Burial of ashes will be held June 12 at 1 p.m. in St. Ninian Cemetery, Antigonish, with Father Donald MacGillivray officiating. Mrs. Dhooge died December 3, 2017, in Parkstone Enhanced Care, Halifax. Born in Malignant Cove, was the daughter of the late Alec and Catherine (MacPherson) MacDougall. She is survived by daughter, Mary Catherine, Halifax, son, Wade Kelowna, British Columbia; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Allister, Halifax; Donald, Antigonish; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis Joseph; son, Wayne; four brothers, Ronald, Leo, John, Clarence.
