Mary Gloria LeBlanc

Funeral service for the late Mary Gloria LeBlanc, 76, Petit de Grat, was held October 10 in St. Joseph’s Church, Petit de Grat, with Father Michel Exalant officiating, assisted by Father Dan Doucet. Burial will be held at a later date. Mrs. LeBlanc died October 4, 2018, at home. Along with her husband Claude, she spent countless hours preparing meals for seniors at the New Horizon Senior Centre. She was a member of St. Joseph’s CWL, Petit de Grat. She had boundless energy while driving, camping, travelling, socializing and hosting a houseful of people. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and baking. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Claude; daughter, Karen Stewart (Michael), Antigonish; four sons, Kevin (Donna), Middle Sackville; Sheldon (Sandra), Goshen; Alfred (Donna), Upper Sackville; Warren (Cindy), Petit de Grat; eight grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Cameron, Katie, Devin, Emma, Amber, Chloe; brother, Vincent (Claire), Boudreauville; sister, Viola Samson, Arichat. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Oscar Olsen; two brothers, John, Colin; four sisters, Edith Samson, Rita Smith, Jeanne Landry, Elean David.
