Funeral service for the late Michael Thomas Kehoe, 68, Rocky Bay, was held July 13, in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Arichat, with Father Michel Exalant officiating, assisted by Father Dan Doucet. Burial was in St Hyacinth Cemetery, D’Escousse.

Mr. Kehoe died July 8, 2019, at home.

Born Dec. 20, 1950, in Arichat, he was the son of the late Ethelbert and Mary Edna (Bowen) Kehoe. An electrician by trade, he worked most of his life in construction. He ended his career with the Canadian Coast Guard, retiring after 19 years of service in MCI Atlantic in Dec. 2018.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Dianne; two sons, Nicholas Lawrence (Dawn), Sackville; Nelson Ethelbert, Elmsdale; two grandchildren, Nathan, Ruby; three brothers, George (Claire), Lauchie (Cathy Cotton), both of Rocky Bay; Dennis (Sharon), Kentville; three sisters, Cecily Maltby,  Jane Dorey (Brian), both of Rocky Bay; Carol Joly (Ron), Innisfil, Ontario.

Memorial donations may be made to the Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society.
