Nancy Warner Marchand

Funeral service for the late Nancy Patricia (Warner) Marchand, 61, was held November 30 in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Port Hawkesbury. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

Mrs. Warner-Marchand died November 10, 2019.

Born July 29, 1958, she was one of 11 children born to the late Edward and Margaret Warner, Port Hawkesbury. Her greatest loves were her faith and family. Prior to her health challenges, she gave of herself endlessly, often being at the bedside of others in their final days. When her health started to decline, she was appreciative of the kindness and support she received from her neighbors in her apartment building.

She is survived by three children, Crissy Marchand, Port Hawkesbury; Jamie Marchand, Glendale; Holly Marchand, Dartmouth; five grandchildren, Peyton, Blake, Paishance, Wayne, Jace; five brothers, Ed (Marilyn), Dartmouth; Albert (Betty), West Bay Road; Martin (Marjorie), Edmonton; Sandy (Tina), Port Hawkesbury; Wayne (Wilma), Moncton; three sisters, Blenda (Rick) Nickerson, Hamilton; Merla, (Hans) Hulshof, Middle Sackville; Carmel (Ken) Smith, Mississauga; uncle Bob and aunt Stella Warner; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by brother, Alan, in infancy; sister, Cathy.
